the Horticulture Scholarship Program

Horticulture Scholarship Program News

Welcome!

Over the years, the Club has focused on improving the city’s greenery and educating residents about gardening and horticulture. To advance these goals we began awarding horticultural scholarships to Yamhill County locals. The program began in 1996 by awarding one $500 scholarship. Currently, a total of $3000 is given to deserving students.

These three $1,000 scholarships are made possible through public donations and the McMinnville Garden Tour & Faire proceeds (our primary fundraiser) and provide financial support to area students pursuing higher education in the fields of horticulture, forestry, environmental studies and others.
