The spring weather is finally here and I have been enjoying it and the birds. This year I have noticed a Rufous hummingbird at my feeders. I don’t recall having them around so much. I have always had the Anna’s. It has been quite a treat.
My yard is mostly ready for the spring push. I try to have all my plants trimmed back and ready for new growth. Unfortunately, sometimes I don’t have the time to get to everything. There are still a few barberries waiting to be cut back. Maybe this week the weather will cooperate.
Working in the yard is my happy place as I am sure it is for a lot of you fellow gardeners. There was quite a wonderful turn out for mosaic rocks at Colleen’s. Thank you, Colleen for offering up your place, it is an enjoyable time for all.
Drove by the West End Welcome to McMinnville area, the committee has been out cleaning it up. It looks very
nice and ready for spring. Thank you for your continued dedication.
Quite a few of you have signed up to help with the April 16 Pioneer District Luncheon. Thank you, Thank you!
I am looking forward an enjoyable time with everyone. It is greatly appreciated.
With the luncheon soon to be behind us, we can now put our focus on our 25th Tour and Faire and our 100th Celebration, both exciting.
Thank you all for all your work to make the Garden Club run smoothly.
Rita
