Steve and Sue Aime’s charming front yard is filled with a wide variety of lovely plants, including an ancient rose bush planted by the original owners.
Steve and Sue delight in sitting on their front porch, watching a variety of wildlife visitors, especially the deer who are attracted to the “deer mirror”. Deer stop to look at themselves in the large mirror placed on the fence behind the hostas. Steve uses a natural spray to stop the deer from eating the hostas and other nearby delectables while they self-gaze. The rose plant benefits from a different type of protection: a strategically placed protection row of thorny plants.
Everyone will love this bright September garden.
