CELEBRATING 100 YEARS!
We are off to a great start to 2026. We had 52 members in attendance on Monday, Jan.19. We added three new members, two that came in as visitors and left as members. Thank you to all that made them feel welcome. Our speaker, Neil Bell was so impressed with our turn-out. Neil sent us his handout for Winter Blooming Ornamentals for those that did not get one as well as those who were not able to come. He did not expect so many of us! I personally am a plantaholic and am looking forward to adding some of those plants to my garden. You should have already received the handout. If you missed it let me know and I will resend it.

The 100 YEARS Committee has been putting our heads together to come up with some grand ideas for celebrating this momentous occasion. During the tour and our year end celebration we are looking to put up some of the past tour posters, pictures from decades past, and mention the club members that are Life Members and members who have been with the club 20 years and longer. We will also list those members that have been around for 15, 10 and 5 years, there is quite a group. At our year-end celebration, we are planning a potluck, a birthday cake, possibly a *costume contest (with period costumes), lots of raffle and door prizes, maybe some music, and whatever other fun activities we can think up. If anyone has any ideas to make it a fun celebration, please let us know.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year. Come and help us celebrate 100 years.
Rita
